St. Mary's Community Services responds to poverty in San Joaquin County by feeding the hungry, caring for health issues, and restoring human dignity to hundreds of individuals each day.

Developing Personal Pathways for Long-Term Stability

There are as many reasons why people experience homelessness as there are people who are homeless. St. Mary's Community Services caring staff provides individualized attention to guests to not only ensure that they have daily provisions, but to also support and connect them with services that can lead to healthier lives and permanent housing.

Individual Volunteer

Whether you are looking for a meaningful way to share your time and talent on a regular basis or through a one-time project, you will find a rewarding experience that will make a difference in the lives of our guests at St. Mary’s.

Group Volunteers

Many volunteers looking to give back to their community are surprised by how much they receive from the experience. Volunteers of all ages leave with a deeper understanding of homelessness and stronger compassion, empathy and grace for their neighbors in need.

Dental Volunteer

Volunteer professionals including dentists, dental hygienists and oral surgeons provide needed dental care, digital X-rays and education to our guests.
