Alice Tanner
Mid-Morning Host
Alice started as a volunteer host at KYCC (then KCJH) in the early 1980’s. She remained at KYCC until the mid-1990’s, returning in 2014. Alice has one daughter and is Nana to 3 grandsons and one great granddaughter. For fun, she, and her family love to check out amusement parks, especially those with extra high and fast roller coasters!
Her hobbies include creating greeting cards, writing poetry, reading, and devising her own creations while cooking and baking. And now that she has embarked on a new career (retirement!), she plans on doing a lot of traveling.
Besides her love for the ministry of KYCC, Alice has a passion for teaching children. In addition to tutoring children in public schools, she has worked in children’s ministry and taught Sunday School for several years.
She stated that her favorite Scripture is Genesis 28:15 – “Behold I am with you and will keep you wherever you go.” God always keeps His promises!
