Sherrie was born and raised in Stockton, the oldest of five children. A country girl at heart, she has fond memories of being raised on a ranch and owning her own pony by the time she was seven. Her parents, the late Kenneth Haney and his wife Joy, have been strong Christian influences in her life.

 

She worked at KYCC from 1986 to 1995, the last eight of those years as Morning Host. From 1995 to 2007 she lived in Los Angeles; Alexandria, Louisiana; and Nashville, Tennessee.

 

She returned to Stockton in 2007 and rejoined the KYCC staff as Afternoon Host. She also hosts Weekend Celebration on Sunday middays.For four years, 2007-11, she directed the Christian Life Center Kingdom Kids Choir, and loves working with kids. She also loves gardening, cooking, thrift stores, the ocean and spending time with family.

 

Sherrie married Tim Moran July 29, 2011, in a fairytale garden wedding.  Together she and Tim are the proud parents of four boys, Timothy, Jason, Dylan and Dawson.  They reside in Stockton and are Lead Pastors of Life Center Community Church in Stockton, a sister church to Centro Vida.  Sherrie's passion is pointing people to Jesus and she loves being a part of the KYCC Family.

 

Her favorite scripture is Psalm 37:4-5: "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass."
