Gary Harding
Evening & Gospel Country Host

Gary was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and at age twelve moved with his family to the San Diego area. He moved to Stockton in 1973 to attend Western Apostolic Bible College where he met his wife Anita, and they were married in 1976.
They have two children, Crystal (married to Jason) and Philip (married to Rachelle, who is Jason's sister). Crystal and Jason have blessed Gary and Anita with three grandsons: Dylan, Logan, and Evan, and a “beautiful” granddaughter, Megan. Philip and Rachelle have added “awesome” Chantel to the family, for a total of five wonderful grandchildren.
Gary's history with KYCC goes all the way back to Day One, when the station signed on in 1975. That fall, Gary was asked to be manager. A meeting was called to create a “broadcast team” and among the original group was Darryl Seibold. Darryl would later become the driving force behind Your Christian Companion. Gary was a Bible college student at the time, and played a major role in the station's beginnings. He has been a fixture at the ministry ever since.
Over the years he has been on the air in just about every time slot imaginable, and currently hosts weeknights from 8:00-10:00 and Sunday mornings from 6:00-10:00. He also hosts Gospel Country on Sunday afternoons. He also covers numerous production duties behind the scenes.
Since 1984, Gary has pastored the Powerhouse Church in Orangevale, California, in the Sacramento area. Additionally, he enjoys playing guitar, eating gourmet hamburgers, and is constantly trying to find time to read Louis L'amour westerns. He has recorded several “Christian-Comedy” albums and frequently travels abroad to entertain at Church events and banquets.
His favorite Bible verse is Mark 10:27, "...With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
